The International Game Fish Association announced that Captain Tim is one of the legendary 2026 Tommy Gifford Award winners! The IGFA Tommy Gifford Awards Ceremony will be on October 29, 2026 at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. The International Game Fish Association (IGFA) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through the management of world-record catches and the preservation of fishing history. 2025 Bonefish Tarpon Trust Circle of Honor Inductee - Outstanding Guide Award
Captain Tim Carlile was inducted into the coveted BTT Circle of Honor
at the 12th annual celebration in the Florida Keys with the BTT 2025 Outstanding Guide Award. This recognition celebrates Captain Tim's remarkable sixty-plus-year career as a fishing guide to anglers from around the world, along with his exceptional contributions to conservation and preservation of the Florida Keys marine ecosystems.
Captain Carlile's many accomplishments and contributions to the fishing community are also proudly displayed at the BTT Circle of Honor Display at the Florida Keys History & Discovery Center in Islamorada, where visitors can learn more about his storied career and the importance of conservation efforts in the Florida Keys.
